How does the Network field relate to the Plan or the Formulary? The only values we have seen in the developer documentation are “PREFERRED” and “NON-PREFERRED”. What other valid values can there be and what kind of validation is being done by CMS on this field? What exactly is this field for?Answer:
This field is simply to delineate one provider network from another. The name can be whatever is meaningful to the issuer; PREFERRED and NON-PREFERRED are just examples.Question:
