What do the numbers in front of an error indicate?

Some errors include a number in front of them, such as:

98: invalid 'zip' format

12: invalid 'drug_tier' format

985: property 'city' required

These numbers refer to which record within the file contains the error.

For provider files, it is often most helpful to move through your file by NPI, and for drug files by rxnorm_id, as a reference for number of records.
